Problem: DTC B0085 00 – Left Front Impact Sensor Circuit High or Low
Details: The left front impact sensor had already been replaced by another shop and the problem was not resolved. After reviewing the wiring diagram with the technician, we found that the wires ran through connector X500, which is located in the left kick panel. After an inspection, the tech found that the connector was severly corroded.
Confirmed Repair: The connector and pins were replaced and the corrosion in surrounding area was cleaned. The DTC was cleared and the Air Bag light remained off.
