About Josue/Josh
I began my love of all things automotive when I was just a kid. It all started with a 1980s Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z Hot Wheels car, and from there, I began to collect anything with wheels. I eventually graduated from Hot Wheels to slot cars, RC cars, and racing simulators. My uncles all have automotive backgrounds so by the time I was twelve, they were teaching me how to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components. I enjoyed this – it allowed me to figure out the inner workings of a vehicle and how to repair them. My first car was a 1991 Honda Prelude SI 4WS. I performed my first timing belt job on that car, and thoroughly enjoyed it so much that I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After high school, I enrolled in Consumnes River College and eventually became certified as a State of California Smog Inspector with a repair license.

For the majority of my 15-year automotive career, I have primarily worked for independent repair shops. I have never been afraid to take on challenging jobs and have strived to stay knowledgeable about advances in automotive technology.

I am excited to join ALLDATA as an Automotive Diagnostic Consultant. There is never a dull moment here and every day I look forward to assisting technicians across the country. This is the perfect opportunity to use my years of experience to help other technicians with their diagnostic challenges. With the help of the entire ALLDATA team, we can keep technicians up to date with the never-ending changes in the automotive industry.

In my spare time, I enjoy going on various weekend outings and spending time with my family. I love watching my children play. I also enjoy going on hikes, participating in Airsoft and paintball matches, smoking meat, and perfecting the art of pizza making.
